Unusual French Provincial Walnut Buffet a Deux Corps

19th century, the upper case with curved ends and conforming shaped and raised panel doors, the complex base with a pair of central drawers, cabinets below and curved end doors.

**In very good polished and restored condition. The case is tight and solid with no movement noted in the base. All drawers and doors open and close freely. Retains locks and functional keys. The piece exhibits normal mars, shrinkage, blemishes and wear, now generally beneath the polished finish. There is scattered past insect damage; no indications they are active, and it doesn't appear severe enough to affect the piece structurally. The rear legs have been spliced or replaced.
