Swiss Mahogany-Cased "Mira" Disc Music Box

ca. 1900, made by Mermod Freres and marked "Mira" under the cover, the mahogany case with a cove-molded cover and base molding, a wooden-handled metal crank, double comb and eleven 15-1/2" discs.
h. 12", w. 28", d. 21"

**In "as found" condition. Some corrosion to the metal components. Lacking the mounting screws which hold the gold cast iron plate in place. Plays. There is periodic clicking noise, likely due to some of the rotating stars being stuck. Could use cleaning and servicing.
