the pattern designed in 1899 by Charles Augustus Bennett (1869-1939), Taunton, Massachusetts, comprising a dozen seven-piece place settings (three butter spreaders lacking) with an additional seven place pieces, thirty serving pieces (one a later re-cast), no monograms, presented in two fitted, Pacific cloth-lined cases, one wooden with lift-top and single drawer, 7-1/4" x 16" x 12", one brown celluloid with lift-top, 4-1/2" x 17-3/4" x 13".

**In good used condition, with the expected patina of age and use, but no damage or repair noted. This appears to be a mixed set, with the place pieces and stainless-bladed pieces of 1970s manufacture and the other serving pieces from the original run. Cases in reasonably good condition with some wear; not original to the set.
