Provincial Louis XV Fruitwood Settee

18th century, the domed and caned back surmounted by a molded, floral-carved crest, joined by scrolling arms to the cushioned and caned, shaped seat, over a like-carved apron, raised on molded cabriole legs ending in scrolled toes.

Provenance: Manheim Galleries, New Orleans, Louisiana; The Estate of Camille & Raymond Hankamer, Houston, Texas.

**In "as found" condition. There is looseness to the joints from age and shrinkage. No apparent breaks or damage. Some old, minor repairs. The caning is intact. The seat cushion is clean. Good overall patina to the finish.
