Pair of Italian Marble Pedestals in the Baroque Taste

ca. 1900, the rosso antico marble octagonal top set into a rosso and white mottled spiral-reeded standard, set with a bronze Corinthian capital, on an octagonal base.
h. 47-1/2", dia. 11-1/2"

**Both are sturdy and stable with no movement observed at the joint of the column and base or top. The brass capital on one exhibits some minor distortion/bending. There are a handful of scattered minor flea bites/chips to the corner edges of the bases and one top.
