Provenance: Selected for the interior of a Pacific Palisades, California villa decorated by Richard Brayton of BraytonHughes Design Studios, San Francisco, California.
Literature: One illustrated in situ: "A California Villa", Architectural Digest, July 1999, p. 78.
Notes: This pair of baroque-style torcheres was selected by interior designer Richard Brayton, co-founder of BraytonHughes Design Studios in San Francisco, for the interior of an impressive Italian villa-style Pacific Palisades residence decorated with antique and modern pieces to achieve a rustic Italian theme. The home was featured four times in Architectural Digest, but most notably on the cover of the July 1999 issue.
**Both are structurally sound with no evidence of damage or repairs. Overall good patina with some candle wax residue from use. Appear to be early 20th century.
