Monumental French Fin de Siecle Parcel-Gilt and Ebonized Mirror

fourth quarter 19th century, the crest with a bust of Marie Antoinette in an oval frame, flanked by putti and framed with lush sprays of giltwood flowers and leaves, the sides paneled and decorated with carved acanthus leaves, medallions and bellflowers, and lined with beading on an ebonized ground, set with a beveled mirror plate.

**In very good condition. Minor imperfections to the ebonizing on the right vertical frame. There is a shrinkage crack line near the mid section of the right side vertical frame. Beautifully gilded.
