possibly 1200-1450 A.D., Peru, with small hands and sculpted features, the mouth over-painted with a wider mouth, likely representing a whale shark, and with a decorative painted headband.

Provenance: Estate of Lin Emery, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Estimate $1,000-1,500

**Repair to proper left leg with accompanying losses. Several cracks: back of neck, lower back, back of proper right knee, back of right thigh. Scattered losses to paint. Overall surface soiling. All consistent with age, material and usage.
