Large Brass-Mounted Teakwood Trunk

early 19th century, constructed of single plank boards and mounted with engraved brass trim, dovetailed corners and raised on turned feet.

**In overall very good condition, exhibiting minor indications of age, wear and use, including some scrubs to the finish, a couple light water spots and half a vase ring on the top, and some abrasions to the lower molding.

Solid, sturdy and stable.

Retains a lock and functioning key. The interior has a box on one end with a lift lid.

There is a loss to a molding on the bottom of the case, and a crack in a molding over a foot.

NOTE: May be of 20th-century manufacture.
