Italian Grand Tour Bronze Head of a Roman Centurion

19th century, after the Antique, the helmet with the distinctive plume and bas-relief scrollwork, flowers and lions.

**In estate condition with scattered abrasions, faint scratches, scattered small drops of white and red accretions and accretions/soiling in more deeply modeled areas. Two uneven holes - one behind proper left ear and the other at temple - which may have been intentional during casting. Front tip of helmet plume has bent and there is a crack with separation. Please see additional images.
