Italian Carved Marble Bust of the Venus de Medici

ca. 1900, a variant after the 1st century BCE Greek sculpture (itself possibly a copy of an earlier bronze) now conserved at the Uffizi, Florence, on a self-socle base.

**In overall very good condition with scattered faint nicks and surface abrasions. A small loss to tip of nose. A few filler repairs including to hair at proper right side of head and at center of breasts. Slight soiling/accretions in more deeply carved areas.
