Gorham Sterling Silver- and Alligator-Mounted Flask

1894, Providence, Rhode Island, the oval glass body clad in alligator skin on the upper half with cutout level window on either side, with sterling silver base, collar and hinged locking cap.
h. 6-1/4", w. 3-3/4", d. 1-1/2"

Estimate $150-300

**In good condition, with no dents to the silver, no cracks to the glass and no tears to the leather. Not tested for water fastness, but the cap is snug and the cork appears to be a recent replacement. Marked on the underside with the Gorham model number, trade- and date mark, with "Sterling" and capacity "1/2 pint". A very handsome lot.
