Good George III Mahogany Stool

18th century, probably Irish, having a shaped slip seat, raised on cabriole legs with shelf-and-bellflower carved knees and ending in trifid feet.
h. 18", w. 22", d. 16"

**In very good condition. Sturdy with no sign of breaks. There are three old plugged holes approximately six inches up from the bottom of each leg indicating that there was once a stretcher. Retains an old surface. Minor scuffs to the legs from age and use.
