George III-Style Mahogany Mule Chest

late 19th century, the rectangular top with a molded edge, hinged and opening to a storage space, over a front fitted with three short faux drawers over two banks of three graduated long drawers, raised on ogee-molded bracket feet.

**In very good refinished and restored condition, exhibiting minor wear to the surface, and normal shrinkage, mars and wear, most notably some abrasions and small finish losses to the top.

The piece is solid and sturdy, exhibiting no movement at the glue joints.

The lid retains a functional key. One small interior drawer has a replaced pull. The case drawers retain their locks, but no key.

There are some chips/losses to the cock-beading around the drawers, the three most notable ones being about 1", 1-1/2" and 1/2" wide.
