Sale 2207 Lot 329

French Art Deco Bronze Chandelier

second quarter 20th century, in the manner of Muller Freres, the central octagonal body fitted with etched and frosted glass panels, the interior with two light sockets, the outer frame with eight arms, each with a flower-molded, frosted glass shade, electrified.
h. 40", w. 34", d. 30"

Estimate $1,000-1,500

**It appears that all of the etched glass panels are original. One of the glass side panels has a small chip along its lower edge. One of the small glass end panels has a vertical crack which is mostly concealed behind the bronze grillwork. One of the pendant shades has a chip to its lower tip and there is a small hole there. One set screw is missing to one of the fitter rings. Retains a pleasing overall patina to the metal. All of the sockets are functioning. Appears to be unsigned.
