Elizabethan-Style Fruitwood Chaise Longue

18th century, having six spiral-twist legs joined by similar spiral-twist block-and-turned stretchers, the head end fitted with a pull-out candle shelf on each side, uphostered in Loro Piana linen.

**In very good refinished and restored condition. The finish is in quite good condition with only scattered minor mars. The piece exhibits normal mars, wear and shrinkage, and old marks beneath the finish.

Tight and stable. The back exhibits no movement. Legs secure.

The upholstery is in good condition. There are a couple tiny snags and a few spots. The most notable mars being a faint red smudge, and near it a red broken line about 4" long.
