third quarter 20th century, the thick, rectangular plate glass top above a pair of monopodal-form standards crowned with handsomely carved nemes-draped pharaoh heads, the bases terminating in carved giltwood acanthus leaves and paw feet, above beveled, serpentine plinths, the backs with carved and parcel-gilt palm trees.
