20th century, of rectangular form, fitted with two doors opening to shelves and two drawers, above a deep relief-carved apron, the whole with elaborately rendered gilt accents of various Asian motifs and figures, raised on block feet.

**The case is sturdy and stable with no movement observed at the joints. There are a few small flakes to the lacquer on the front side, most notably along perimeter edges. There are a number of losses to the lacquer on the sides; one side has been sanded/scrubbed and over-painted. Crazing to the sides.
