mid-19th century, the inset rounded rectangular marble top above a conforming case fitted with a bi-paneled drop-front secretary drawer, opening to an inset leather writing surface and four small drawers, over two paneled cupboard doors, raised above a shaped apron on scrolled feet.

**In overall very good condition. The case is very sturdy and stable with no movement observed in its joints.
Marble in very good condition.
The tilt/open mechanism for the fall-front drawer face is functional. There are some veneer tears in the desk interior work surface.
Locks are present; a functional key is not. The applied wooden key escutcheon is missing from one of the cupboard doors.
There is a vertical shrinkage crack in the panel on one side of the case.
The lower interior has a set of open-face linen drawers.
