Set of Nine French Sevres-Style Porcelain Plates

fourth quarter 19th century, each with a bleu celeste ground and raised scrollwork borders punctuated with grisaille-painted classical profiles in oval gilt surrounds, the centers with circular floral panels, with spurious Sevres-style marks on the back.

**One plate has been broken into numerous pieces and restored. The other eight are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations and only minimal scattered wear to the gilt.
