Louis XV-Style Ormolu-Mounted, Japanese Lacquer and Vernis Martin Bureau de Pente

early 20th century, in the manner of Jacques Dubois, the shaped, rectangular top with a three-quarter pierced brass gallery above a slant front, opening to a storage well and drawers, raised on cabriole legs headed by ormolu mounts and ending in sabots, the whole with japanned scenic reserves on black grounds framed throughout with vernis Martin.

**In very good condition. No sign of damage or repairs. Very minor surface dings and imperfections from age and use. The interior drawers are silk lined and the lining has come loose on some. There is a sliding lid on the interior of the deck which opens to a secret compartment.
