Impressive English Mahogany Banquet Table

mid-19th century, in the maner of Gillows, having six large turned and reeded legs, carved top and leaves, opening to accommodate seven leaves.

**In "as found" condition. There are scattered chips and losses along the inside edges of the leaves and table top, mostly in the areas where they dowel together. Light scuffs to the surface from age and use. Losses to the underside moldings of the leaves which run along their bottom outside edges. Some shrinkage cracks. Some of the leaves have a dull finish due to being stored. The table retains a rich, dark finish and patina.
