**Surface dirt and toning of the varnish layer. Some distortion of the canvas. Signs of inpainting with corresponding patch en verso, upper mid-right (clearing), lower right and center (ground), and mid-left (trees). Areas of inpainting lower right and lower right corner, upper and mid-center (trees and around) and on woman and child.

Frame: Modern, simple frame with surface marks, nicks and abrasions.
