Napoleon III Mahogany, Satinwood and Parcel-Gilt Occasional Table

ca. 1900, the banded rectangular top with D-ends and a foliate ormolu edge, above a conforming frieze fitted with two drawers, raised on four columnar supports joined by an interlacing stretcher to splayed legs and ending in gilt foliate scrolled toes on casters, the whole elaborately accented with ormolu mounts and millwork, bearing a brass plaque retail label reading "From the Collection / of / Loyd-Paxton / Dallas, Texas".
