ca. 1800, with serpentine sides, the crest decorated with a pierced anthemion, the surround decorated with carved anthemia, scrollwork, rocaille work and flowerheads on a stippled ground, set with an antique mirror plate.

Richly carved and in generally good condition.
Old professional restoration across the anthemion crest with typical dings, small losses and patches to the carved elements throughout. The lower center exhibits some oxidation and wear to the lower edge.
The gilded surfaces exhibit typical rubbing, touch-ups and
The mirror plate with moderate wear/losses to the silvering.
All of the above consistent with age.
