Vintage Louis Vuitton Monogram "Boite Chapeaux Ronde 50"
1989, brass hardware, the coated canvas exterior with vachetta leather trim, buckled carrying strap and luggage tag, linen-lined interior with a pleated rear pouch, patch-labeled "Louis Vuitton/Paris/Made in France", resting on four domed brass feet.

**The stitching that hinges the top lid of the hatbox to the base is detached; it appears to have been intentionally detached and can easily be re-stitched, if desired. The inside lining of the lid (linen on cardboard) has come unglued and can be easily reaffixed. The exterior coated canvas and interior linen are in very good condition with no visible losses, tears or stains. The leather trim on top has some rubbing, a small pulled thread at edge and the leather handle has creasing - all of which are to be expected with age, material and use.
