**Painting most likely created ca. 1900.
Surface soiling, unevenness to varnish layer, surface abrasions, pinprick losses and scattered craquelure.
Difficult for UV light to penetrate the varnish layer.
Frame with rubbing to edges, cracks, nicks and abrasions.
