Pair of Louis XIV-Style Oak Fauteuils

the upholstered backs joined to molded arms with foliate-carved scroll ends, the molded seat rail over trumpet-form legs joined by a serpentine molded stretcher, the ivory upholstery trimmed with brass nails.

**In overall very good condition. Both chairs are sturdy and solid with no movement exhibited in the arms, back or legs. The wooden elements exhibit normal scrubs, mars and abrasions, most notably at the feet.

The upholstery is in very good condition with light wear and good firmness and shape. There are some soiled spots on one seat. Some loose threads stick out from beneath the ivory perimeter trim.
